History
Since 1998 the Australian Bridal Industry Academy, ABIA, has become a brand name synonymous with excellence within the Australian wedding industry. Over this period, in excess of 30,000 brides and grooms have evaluated the performance of over 25,000 Australian wedding service providers.

Selecting The Best Wedding Providers
By enabling newlyweds to evaluate the performance of their chosen wedding providers, ABIA is in a position to determine the best wedding providers based on the opinions of past bridal customers. These opinions are expressed, by each newlywed couple in the form of ratings. Newlywed's have provided a rating out of 100 points for each of their wedding providers based on the quality of their product, quality of service, value for money and attitude of staff. These customer ratings determine the best wedding providers in Australia. The top rating wedding providers in each State are eligible to qualify as finalists and winners of the Golden ABIA Award.
